Against such things there is no law…Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”
Galatians 5:22-23; 25
A nominee for the Each Moment Matters Award should exhibit the Fruits of the Spirit outlined in the passage above.
Please consider the following attributes, when providing your responses:
- Devotion to the community displayed through meaningful and consistent gifts of time and/or significant financial resources.
- Faith in serving others with joy, gratitude, respect, kindness and love.
- Courage in empowering, educating and giving hope to persons of any age.

- Posthumous nominations are welcome. If your nominee is deceased, please make sure we have your complete contact information listed above.
One person, or couple, may nominate up to three (3) persons, couples or families, ranked in priority order. If multiple nominators propose identical individuals, couples or families, that may only strengthen their case to be selected as an honoree.
One business, corporation, church, foundation or educational institution may nominate up to three (3) individual leaders from their organization, or another institution, ranked in priority order. If multiple nominators propose identical leaders, it may only strengthen that leader’s case to be selected as an honoree.
Please note that nominating someone does not guarantee automatic selection. Those nominated in past years, but not selected, may be nominated again. All nominations will be handled under the strictest confidence. Each honoree will be notified in writing of his or her status as an award winner on or before March 23rd. Each nominator will also receive notification of the status of his or her nominee in writing, on or before April 6, 2018.
Nominators: If your nominee is selected as a 2018 honoree, we encourage you to purchase a table in support of your honoree. Several individuals may contribute toward the cost of one table and may receive special priority seating. Table sponsorships will be posted on the Each Moment Matters Luncheon website and listed in the program book.

Each Moment Matters Sponsors
Your gift or sponsorship makes each moment matter in the lives of our patients
Every 3 days, Faith Presbyterian Hospice must turn away one end-of-life patient who has little to no funds to pay for their care. We believe every human being deserves the most dignified, strong ending to life. This drives our goal of providing quality and compassionate care for these patients, while also extending care to their loved ones. Regardless of an individual’s age or health condition, we know that Each Moment Matters, and should be full of joy and meaning. Proceeds from this event provide assurance, peace and benevolent services to patients and families of Faith Presbyterian Hospice who live in our 13 county service area in North Texas.
